Rebekha de Marais Champagne arrived in South Africa on the 9th September 2008. At almost 10 weeks of age she undertook the marathon journey from Switzerland with great aplomb and confidence. Since then she has settled into our home and is making life a misery for the older dogs by chewing on their ears and neck fur. Thankfully they put up with it all with a good heart and tolerate this new little thing with good humour.

Becky is a lively and curious little girl and will investigate anything that moves and most things that don't. Soon she will start her puppy classes and no doubt her curiosity will be tested when she gets to meet up with other breeds. Becky is the fourteenth Bernese we have imported and the seventh from Switzerland and we hope she will follow in the illustrious steps of her predecessors. In the meantime she is happy just being a puppy and enjoying life to the full.
